David Kelley co-founded IDEO, helped design the first commercial mouse, and built Stanford’s d.school so engineering and business students would stop treating creativity as someone else’s job. After a cancer diagnosis he argued in public that creative confidence is recoverably human. With his brother Tom he wrote Creative Confidence as a field guide for that recovery.
