Dr. Steve Peters

"Psychiatrist and performance coach behind British Cycling's Olympic success"

Dr. Steve Peters is a British psychiatrist who spent decades treating patients and lecturing in psychiatry at the University of Sheffield before turning his Chimp Model into one of sport's most influential performance tools. He worked closely with British Cycling's Olympic team — including Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, and Bradley Wiggins — through a run of Olympic gold medals, and later advised snooker champion Ronnie O'Sullivan and Liverpool FC.
